When selecting outdoor stone furniture, confirm three items early: the actual stone, component details, and the handover scope. Natural stone is hard but can still fracture when spans, joints, impacts, or transport conditions are not addressed.
At its District 12 workshop, NHAN BAN STONE reviews stone samples, receives approved dimensions or drawings, fabricates granite furniture to the agreed scope, checks components, packs them, and hands them over. Thickness, connection details, surface treatment, and transport arrangements are confirmed for the specific design and material rather than assumed across every order.

1. Structural Details to Confirm Before Fabrication
Granite performs well in compression but remains brittle under bending and concentrated impact. The approved design should therefore address:
- Thickness and unsupported span: Set these from the tabletop or bench length, support positions, and the selected stone lot; thickness alone does not prove load capacity.
- Joints and locating pins: Mortises, pins, or reinforcement are used only when the agreed technical detail calls for them.
- Edge profile: Half bullnose, rounded, or bevelled edges are selected for the use location and approved sample; they do not replace safe use.
- Surface finish: Polish level and sealer choice depend on the stone, exposed faces, environment, and the instructions for the selected treatment product.

2. Granite Furniture References Available at the Workshop
The images below help clients compare forms, stone colors, and support layouts before requesting a quotation. Trade names, dimensions, and material availability must be checked against the sample or lot available when the order is confirmed:
2.1. Binh Dinh Yellow Granite Round Table Set (Imperial Golden Aura)
Binh Dinh Yellow is a common trade name for warm yellow granite with darker mineral grains. Origin and tone should be confirmed against the sample or lot documents at quotation time.
- Reference configuration: Round tabletop D1000mm – D1200mm, 3.5cm – 4.0cm thick, and 72cm – 75cm high. It may be paired with six stools or two benches; final dimensions follow the approved drawing.
- Reference settings: Villa gardens, garden houses, or pavilions. Approve color on the actual sample because tone and mineral pattern vary by lot.

2.2. Cambodia Black Granite Dining Set (Modern Minimalist Luxury)
Cambodia Black is a common trade name for fine-grained black granite/gabbro. Material identity, origin, and tone should be confirmed from the sample or lot documents.
- Reference configuration: Rectangular tabletop 800 × 1600mm or 900 × 1800mm, or circular D1100mm. Seating and final dimensions follow the approved drawing.
- Use note: A polished surface is generally easier to wipe than a textured finish; water absorption and stain behavior must be checked for the specific lot and treatment.
- Recommended settings: Modernist villas, Japanese Zen gardens, and seaside luxury retreats.

2.3. Suoi Lau White Granite Furniture Set (Economical & Highly Durable)
Suoi Lau White is a common trade name for grey-white, black-speckled granite. Origin, tone, and lot details should be confirmed from the sample and supporting documents at quotation time.
- Reference configuration: Round tabletop D1000mm – D1200mm or rectangular 750 × 1400mm, paired with square or round stools; final dimensions follow the approved drawing.
- Core benefits: A clean, neutral pepper-and-salt grey-white pattern that conceals outdoor dust and blends naturally with surrounding garden greenery and patio pavers.

3. Custom Granite Furniture from Approved Drawings
Beyond the reference models, the workshop can review fabrication from approved dimensions and design documents. Before quotation, provide:
- Overall dimensions, intended setting, and component quantities.
- Preferred stone or visual reference; the actual sample still requires approval.
- Support, joint, edge, and finish details.
- Handover, packing, and any requested transport scope.

4. Reference Dimensions and Sample Approval
Furniture dimensions should suit the users, component thickness, and supporting surface. The ranges below are starting points for discussion, not mandatory standards for every design:
- Reference tabletop height: about 720–750 mm.
- Reference seat height: about 400–450 mm.
- Reference tabletop-to-seat difference: about 280–300 mm.
- Edge profile: Select a radius or bevel from the approved sample and review frequently touched corners.
The final drawing should record dimensions, agreed tolerances, support positions, and connection details before stone is cut.

5. Quick Comparison Before Selecting Outdoor Furniture Materials
| Criterion | Natural granite | Concrete / terrazzo | Outdoor timber |
|---|---|---|---|
| Surface variation | Natural differences occur between samples and lots | Color can be controlled through mix and finish | Varies with species, grain, and coating |
| Weight | Heavy; the base and movement plan matter | Heavy; depends on reinforcement and size | Usually lighter than stone or concrete |
| Cleaning | Use pH-neutral cleaners and address spills early | Depends on porosity and protective finish | Depends on the coating and maker guidance |
| Maintenance | Inspect joints, edges, and protection as needed | Inspect cracking, coating, and moisture | Inspect warping, joints, and oil/paint finish |
| Approval check | Approve the stone sample, construction, edge, and handover plan | Approve mix, reinforcement, and finish | Approve species, outdoor treatment, and joints |
Inspection note: Price or tapping sound alone cannot establish material identity or quality. Review a cut edge, the actual surface, connection details, and the material description in the quotation.
6. Fabrication, Inspection, and Handover Workflow
- Step 1 – Confirm sample and documents: Review the stone sample or lot, dimensions, quantities, connection details, and required finish.
- Step 2 – Fabricate to the approved drawing: Cut, shape, edge, and prepare connection details within the confirmed scope.
- Step 3 – Inspect and pack: Check quantities, agreed dimensions, and surfaces; label components, add protective padding, and secure them to a suitable pallet or frame.
Transport, crane placement, and installation are not automatically included in every order. If included, access conditions, responsibilities, safety measures, and the exact scope must appear in the quotation or contract. The image below only illustrates protective packing and coordinated crane handling.

7. Volume Orders and Distribution Enquiries
For project quantities or distribution enquiries, quotations are prepared from the model, quantity, material, approval schedule, and packing scope. Please provide:
- Model list, estimated quantity, and receiving location.
- Color-consistency requirement or acceptable natural variation.
- Sample approval date, delivery phases, and crate-label needs.
- Product images, specifications, or documents required for that order.
Capacity and commercial terms are confirmed only after the workshop reviews material availability, quantity, and the production schedule at quotation time.

8. Cleaning and Maintaining Granite Surfaces
- Routine cleaning: Remove dust and leaves with clean water or a soft cloth; use a pH-neutral cleaner when needed.
- Spills: Blot tea, coffee, grease, or colored liquids promptly instead of leaving them on the surface.
- Strong chemicals: Avoid acidic or strongly alkaline cleaners unless guidance confirms compatibility with the stone and its treatment.
- Periodic review: Inspect joints, edges, and water absorption; retreatment depends on the stone, exposure, use, and previous product.
The water droplets below are an illustrative surface effect, not a promise that every stone will show the same water resistance.
